Amazing analysis -- right on in almost every instance (m)

I've had this book for several years and I've used it to analyze my relationships and others. It's absolutely fascinating how on target the analysis is! It freaks people out.

I'm buying two more copies -- one to keep and one to lend -- because this is a book that won't be returned to you after you lend it.

It's also a great read for beginners in astrology. It helps you understand the four elements of the signs, earth, water, air, and fire, and the interplay of the sun and moon signs.

The older astrological books seem to have a better approach and more informational than many of the more up-to-date and current books pertaining to astrology. I think the title slightly misleads to the actual subject matter. It is more of an approach to general romance and relationships, etc.

Great sequel to the series!

I found it to be better than the first one. The paranormal side of the plot had more of an influence on the development of the story, and to me it gave it a feel of adventure, to complement the romance (that i already expected would be there). I'm very anxious to see what will happen in the next book!! It will be interesting to see if Joey will be older, since the time gap between the first and the second was a few years.

Just Okay

I really liked the first book in the series so I thought I would give this one a shot. I wish I hadn't read it. I really did not like Molly's attitude the whole book. I mean come on yes he is a cop and there are some dirty cops out there but there are also bad lawyers, bad teachers, bad doctors and so much more. Why do you have to be prejudice against him because of his job when he puts his life on the line every day to make the world a safer place. Then she gets pissed because he breaks up a underage party that is going on next door to her house. Um HELLO its called breaking the law and so yes they should get in trouble and he should do something about it every off duty a law is a law. I was just not a fan of her. The book as okay but definitely could do without her attitude.

Love a man who does what is right

This book is about John. When his girlfriend gets pregnant he does what is right and marries her. Then when she decides to bale he does what is right and tries to raise his young son on his own. I loved how Judith Arnold made John so real. Who hasn't given up the battle for bath and settled on cookies and milk instead. John wants to do what is best for his son but he just doesn't really know how.

Enter Molly and her pre-school and daddy school. Molly is a wonderful character that cares instently about these two lost men. She is drawn to John even though she has issues in her past that make this relationship difficult.

This book is a real enjoyable ride. Love all the daddy school books and would highly recommend this one

One Wish is a new prequel story for Michelle Harrison's Thirteen Treasures series so it's ideal for fans of the series or anyone who is new to this author. This whole series has been incredibly fun to read and One Wish is no exception to that, it has all the magic and wonder you could hope for from a fairytale and is full of great characters and fun adventures.

Tanya is a young girl with the second sight which allows her to see the fairies and other fae creatures. This rare ability often gets her in trouble, the fairies don't like to be seen and they take great pleasure in tormenting her by causing mischief and because Tanya's mother can't see them it is always Tanya who gets the blame for the things they do. Tanya is thrilled when she meets a young boy called Ratty and realises that he has the same ability as she does, not only can he see the fairies but he also has ways to protect himself against them and he's willing to teach them to Tanya. When Ratty is kidnapped it is up to Tanya, along with Ratty's mischievous fairy guardian Turpin, to rescue him but that is going to be easier said than done.

One Wish is an incredibly whimsical tale full of colourful characters. My favourite would have to be Turpin, she's such a tricky little pest but her heart is in the right place and she would do anything to protect her Ratty. I also really enjoyed the Wishing Tree who always speaks in rhyme. Tanya is a fabulous main character and I've enjoyed following all of her adventures.

Read this one before the Trilogy. Although it was written after the Trilogy, this book is a prequel to the serious. Enjoyable and fun!

Cognitive Behavior Therapy: Applying empirically supported techniques in your practice brings together the techniques as a study guide for practitioners. Each chapter is organized in a comprehensive manner, providing a considerable scope and utility of many individual techniques. Chapter one explains that 80 diverse techniques exist in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which creates an additional burden for therapists seeking to become skilled in them. Meanwhile, chapter two discusses psychological acceptance by examining the movement of promoting acceptance of suffering and how improvement results in quality of life rather than changing the client's negative experience. This movement of the models emphasizing acceptance versus change is empirically supported, thereby demonstrating that by trying to suppress thoughts a rebound effect will occur. Indeed, the research findings indicate that CBT thought-stopping might be ill advised. The problems with trying to restructure problematic thoughts using suppression could result in intensification, followed by the clients elaborating upon those thoughts. Cognitive therapists have challenged the theoretical argument that simply targeting thoughts to make effective changes may not be successful in the long term.
CBT includes specific aspects. First, CBT philosophically originated from behaviorism based on the key idea that science and psychology are combined.
